Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the online store operated by VÈRN (“we,” “us,” or “our”), referred to below as the “Service.” By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Overview

We operate an online store selling diamonds, gemstones, jewelry, and related products. These terms define the rights and obligations between VÈRN and users of the Service.

2. Use of the Service

  • You must be at least 19 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
  • You may not use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

3. Product Information

  • We make every effort to provide accurate product information, including photographs, descriptions, and specifications.
  • Diamond photographs are representative images, and the actual item may vary slightly.
  • All diamonds include a GIA or IGI grading report. The grades shown on that report are the authoritative specifications.
  • We may change product selection and pricing without prior notice.

4. Orders and Contracts

  • An order is formed when the customer completes payment.
  • We may reject or cancel an order because of unavailable inventory, a pricing error, or a similar issue. If this occurs, a full refund will be issued.
  • Cancellation may be restricted after production begins for made-to-order products, including custom rings and engraved items.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are displayed in Korean won (KRW) and include value-added tax (VAT).
  • For international delivery, the recipient is responsible for import duties and taxes.
  • Supported payment methods include credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express), Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay.
  • Payment information is processed securely using SSL encryption. We do not store payment-card information.

6. Shipping

  • In-stock items are dispatched within one to three business days after payment confirmation.
  • Made-to-order items generally require seven to fourteen business days.
  • All diamonds and jewelry are sent using secure, insured delivery.
  • We will notify the customer in advance when a delivery delay is expected.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Eligible items may be returned unworn and unused within 30 days of receipt.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content included in the Service, including logos, designs, text, and images, is our intellectual property.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without our prior written consent.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive right to use reviews, photographs, and other content that you post through the Service.

9. Privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the Service and are not liable for temporary interruptions caused by system maintenance or outages.
  • We are not liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, and strikes.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when necessary. Updated terms take effect when posted through the Service. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through the Service.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through mutual consultation. If no agreement is reached, either party may bring a claim before a court with appropriate jurisdiction.
